At Jit Team, we’ve been working for years in a model where technology matters, but people matter more. Our philosophy – “The human factor of IT” – is not a slogan. It’s how we design our organization, grow teams, and build relationships every day.
Today, we operate as an organization of nearly 800 people. A significant part of our team consists of senior engineers and leaders, and over 160 Jitters have been with us for more than 5 years. Team stability and deep experience are not just metrics for us — they are the foundation of the culture we consciously develop.
Recognition that goes beyond a single celebration
At Jit, we regularly celebrate 10-year work anniversaries of our Jiters. Each of these moments is important — it’s a chance to pause and thank people for years of collaboration, growth, and impact on the organization. Over time, however, we noticed something important: even the most meaningful celebration becomes just a memory.
We wanted something more — a lasting effect that would stay present in everyday life at Jit and continuously reinforce awareness of the people who have shaped the company over the years.

How the idea was born
In 2025, our Marketing, Communications, and Employer Branding team started looking for a way to better “anchor” the stories and experience of long-tenured Jiters within the organization.
We work in a hybrid and distributed model, often embedded in client projects, which naturally reduces everyday visibility between colleagues. As a result, awareness of who has been with Jit for many years — and who carries deep organizational knowledge — is not always obvious in daily interactions. We wanted to change that.
Together with our creative team and designers, we explored a solution that would combine three elements:
- recognition of long-tenured employees,
- a visual expression of company values,
- and greater visibility of people’s stories in the workplace.
Execution as a collaborative and iterative process
The initiative quickly became cross-functional. Multiple internal teams and external partners were involved in bringing it to life.
The biggest challenge wasn’t the idea itself, but translating it into a physical form. We worked on:
- selecting materials and color consistency,
- designing how employees’ stories and photos would be presented,
- ensuring quality of spatial elements,
- and aligning the final outcome with the aesthetics of our office space.
As is often the case with such projects, iterations were necessary. Some solutions had to be simplified, others redesigned entirely. In the end, we delivered the project within the planned budget and timeframe.
What this project taught us
From our perspective, the greatest value of this initiative is not its physical form, but what it triggered within the organization.
It confirmed that:
- recognition does not end with a single event — it can become part of everyday experience,
- visibility of experienced employees strengthens organizational culture,
- and well-designed employer branding initiatives can meaningfully influence relationships within teams.
It also reinforced that the direction we are taking in shaping Jit’s culture is the right one — and worth continuing.
Future outlook
The initiative was born out of a clear need: to better recognize and highlight employees with 10+ years of tenure at Jit Team. Instead of a one-time celebration format, we created a solution that strengthens daily visibility of people and their stories within the organization.
Looking ahead, we know the number of long-tenured Jiters will continue to grow. This means we will further develop and adapt our approach to keep supporting a culture built on recognition, relationships, and long-term collaboration.
